Med fokus på mänskliga rättigheter

Böling AlinaAlina Böling studerar juridik för fjärde året och brinner för mänskliga rättigheter. I höst åker hon på utbyte till Sorbonne i Paris för att studera juridik på franska.

Varför just juri?

Det kändes som ett tryggt val, det är ett brett ämne med mycket möjligheter, man kan jobba med nästan vad som helst då det finns juridik på alla områden. I gymnasiet var jag väldigt intresserad av samhällsfrågor, och det var kanske främst mänskliga rättigheter som jag ville fördjupa mig i. Under studierna har jag också blivit bekant med andra ämnen som jag aldrig trodde att jag skulle vara bra på, men som ändå visade sig vara intressanta, till exempel handelsrätt.

Hade du några fördomar?

När jag började visste jag inte riktigt vad jag skulle vänta mig. Det tar ju en stund att lära sig hur varje fakultet fungerar och här får vi ganska mycket ansvar då det gäller att planera sina studier. Under introduktionen på första dagen fanns det en massa kostymer i publiken, men jag märkte snabbt att det finns olika människor som studerar juridik som har väldigt varierande intressen.

Vad har varit det bästa med studierna?

Det bästa är nog studiekamraterna som jag lärt känna väldigt väl och att man kan ta stöd av varandra i studierna. Förutom det är till exempel rättegångstävlingarna jätteroliga. Jag är nu med i ett lag som åker till Haag för att delta i en tävling i internationell rätt, eller folkrätt som det egentligen heter. Rättsfallet handlar om en flygplanskapning och lag från hela Europa deltar.

Vad skulle vilja jobba med?

Gärna något internationellt, helst med något som anknyter till globala eller europeiska frågor. Kanske något som är kopplat till både politik och juridik?

Vad näst?

Nästa år kommer jag att åka på utbyte till Paris för att studera vid Sorbonne. Visst är det lite utanför min bekvämlighetszon att studera på franska men det känns väldigt spännande!
