Vangelis – Rosetta (2016)
This electronic/ambient album is dedicated entirely to the ESA Rosetta mission, that was launched in 2004 and concluded in 2016. Rosetta travelled for 10 years towards comet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko and on 12 November 2014 deployed its lander module Philae towards the comet. This mission marked the first successful landing on a comet.

Various Artists – Collected by NASA – Voyager Golden Record (1977)
One of the most ambitious space missions of all times is the NASA Voyager programme. It consists of two twin Voyager 1 and 2 spacecraft, both launched in 1977 with the intent of studying the Outer Solar System. Both spacecraft explored Jupiter and Saturn, and then Voyager 2 continued its journey towards Uranus and Neptune (and still is today the only spacecraft that has ever visited them). Both spacecraft continued moving towards the edge of the Solar System, until in August 2012, Voyager 1 left the Solar System and made the historic entry into interstellar space. Both spacecraft are still operational and sending information through the Deep Space Network.
On the chance that someday the Voyagers may be found by intelligent life forms, they both carry a copper phonograph record called “The Sounds of Earth”, with greetings in 55 languages, music, and natural sounds. There are also signals that can be converted into 115 different pictures. You can read more about what is on the Golden Record here.
