International Research Network – Anglia Ruskin University – University of Helsinki
Following the discussions in the parallel workshops the 6th of February, 2013 at Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge, England, and the interest that everyone around the table had in the concept of reciprocity we decided to form an International Research Network online which would offer sharing spaces focused on:
- Theory;
- Methods;
- Projects;
- Dissemination (peer reviewing of Finnish or English papers written in English);
- Publications;
- Conferences;
- PhD students;
- Workshops and Webseminars.
We agreed that the first step towards collaboration is to explore and clarify the theoretical underpinnings and perspectives on reciprocity. This discussion could be based on a collection of short one-page papers through which we share our thinking about reciprocity in the various areas in which it takes place.
In process a book “Reciprocal Relationships: Implications for Social Work and Social Policy, Maritta Törrönen, Carol Munn-Giddings, Laura Tarkiainen and Melanie Boyce (eds.), will be published 2017 by Routledge.
