Hui-Chun Lee

  • Professor

  • Professor Lee specializes on the agentive perception and pedagogical issues. Dr. Lee visited Finland in 2009 and again in 2011 presenting Taiwanese early childhood education practicies and research, especially on documenting. Dr. Lee has been a central figure in the creation and development of the project.

Hui-Hua Chenhuihua

  • Assistant professor of early childhood education.

  • National Dong Hwa University in Taiwan
  • She teaches courses in child assessment, classroom management, and children’s activity design. Her research interests include cross-cultural parent–child relationships and attachment.

 

 

Li-Chen Wang

  • Associate Professor
  • Department of Early Childhood Education and Care
  • Chang Gung University of Science and Technology
  • Professor Wang has been an active partner from the very beginning (2008). She visited Helsinki in 2009 and 2012. She is mainly responsible for studying children’s agentive perception in different situations. One of her interests is the application of qualitative methods on children’s interview data. Dr. Wang is the key person in the comparative study of children’s physical activity between Finland and Taiwan.

Dr. Rosalind Wu

  • National Academy for Educational Research

  • Dr. Wu is the scientific and methodological adviser, scaffolding us forward. She has contributed both on the theoretic and the practical instruments of the research. Her specific interests are in child development (both in agentive and adaptive development), communication and learning to read and write. Dr. Wu visited Finland in 2011 and focused on scaffolded play.

Shu-Shuan ShihShu-Chuan

  • Taitung University

Her research interests include Montessori Method, language and the reading ability of aboriginal children, curriculum, whole language, dialogic reading, project approach and teachers’ professional development. In this project, Shu-Shuan is the key person in cooperation with Hualien and eastern Taiwan: educational department, preschools, teacher training, observation training and revising the research tools.
