There is limited research on racial profiling in Sweden. In this lecture, the conclusions of the first comprehensive study on the subject are discussed. The presentation highlights similarities and differences in how police treatment is experienced, mainly by Afroswedes, Muslims and Roma from marginalised residential areas of major cities. The presentation also explores ways that police officers dismiss claims of racial profiling.
