As part of ongoing North-South-South project networking activities Professor Markku Kanninen and Mr. Dipjoy Chakma from VITRI and Dr. Damrong Pipatwattanakul from Kasetsart University, Thailand visited Myanmar from 6-10 July, 2015. During the visit, VITRI representatives met with senior staff’s of Myanmar Forest Department, Forest Research Institute and Myanmar Forestry University. The host organization also organized a field trip to Teak plantations, community forestry projects and REDD+ project sites. VITRI representatives also met with Mr. Jarmo Kuuttila, Charge D’Affaires, Diplomatic Mission of Finland.
