University of Helsinki
ESN Uni Helsinki is one of the local sections of Erasmus Student Network. Our main tasks are reception of incoming exchange students in University of Helsinki, providing practical information, and organizing free time activities. We provide various cultural and social events for the exchange students, helping you to meet other international and local students and get more out of your exchange period in Helsinki.
For example, this year we have organized city tours, Finnish sports, pub crawls, knitting workshop, parties, sauna evenings and international dinners. We have went on excursions to museums, Parliament House, Finland’s national broadcasting company Yle, chocolate factory Fazer and national park Nuuksio.
ESN is one of the biggest student associations in Europe. ESN was founded for supporting and developing student exchange, and it works on a volunteer basis. We are one of the 4 local sections in Helsinki, and the oldest ESN section in Finland. We have been helping exchange students since 1993!
