First Nordic Annual Environmental and Resource Economics (NAERE) Workshop
21-22 April 2017 in Helsinki, Finland
We are pleased to introduce the first edition of what we hope will become an annual tradition: Nordic Annual Environmental and Resource Economics (NAERE) workshop.
The workshop will be held in Helsinki on 21st and 22nd April 2017 at Economicum (Arkadiankatu 7). It will be hosted by the Department of Economics and Management, University of Helsinki.
We wish to establish an annual workshop with presentations from researchers and graduate students in the Nordic countries who work on topics in energy, environmental and resource economics.
We feel that such a workshop would facilitate collaborative efforts and scientific contacts among researchers working at Nordic research institutions, and thus strengthen the ties between the institutions.

Abstract submission is now closed. In case you wish to participate without presenting you can register until March 31st 2017 using the registration form.

The workshop fee 190 € includes the scientific program, coffee breaks, Friday lunch, and the social dinner on Friday.
Finnish Environment Institute will host an informal get-together with an optional sauna on Thursday 20th of April at 19 pm. Research director Per Mickwitz will greet us on behalf of Finnish Environment Institute. The address is Mechelininkatu 34a, which is at a walking distance from the workshop venue. Snacks and drinks will be served, and towels are available. Please join us even if you are not interested in the sauna.
