Young Muslims and Resilience – A Participatory Study

Featured

This multidisciplinary participatory research project focuses on resilience of young Muslims living in Finland. In the project participants are co-researchers who – together with the organisers – explore their sense of belonging, identities and supporting factors in the lives of young Muslim women and men.

During the project productions, such as an exhibition, videos, books, and articles are created. These productions give space to voice and perspectives of participants.

The project is funded by Kone Foundation (2016‒2018) and conducted in the Department of Social Research at the University of Helsinki.
