Environmental economics group consists of four different teams focusing on multiple topics of environmental policies. They range from water protection to the issues of biodiversity conservation and climate change. The joint feature of all topics is to outline the socially optimal policies to improve the state of the environment. Drawing on the key theories of environmental economics, the work is based on theoretical modeling and numerical analysis. Some projects entail also practical applications through field pilots.
