Annette Markham on tiedon tutkimuksen (Information studies) apulaisprofessori Aarhusin yliopistossa Tanskassa ja digitaalisen median liitannäisprofessori Loyolan yliopistossa Chicagossa. Hän tutkii merkityksen antamista ja identiteetin muodostamista välittyneessä vuorovaikutuksessa. Hänen erityisosaamisensa ovat tulkitsevat, laadulliset ja etnografiset metodit. Markhamin teoksia ovat muun muassa: Life Online: Researching real experience in virtual space (Altamira 1998) ja Nancy Baymin kanssa kirjoitettu Internet Inquiry (2009). Hän työstää paraikaa kirjaa Remix Culture, Remix Methods , jonka julkaisee MIT Press.

Susan Michie Susan Michie on terveyspsykologian professori ja hän johtaa monitieteistä Centre for Behaviour Change -keskusta University College London (UCL) -yliopistossa Lontoossa. Susan Michien on ollut keskeisenä tekijänä useissa hankkeissa, joissa on pyritty yhtenäistämään käyttäytymisen muuttamiseen liittyvää käsitteistöä sekä miten nämä käyttäytymisen muuttamiseen liittyvät tekniikat (Behavior Change Techniques) liittyvät eri teorioihin. Michie kehittää ja arvioi työkseen erilaisia käyttäytymisen muutokseen tähtääviä interventioita ja niiden vaikuttavuutta. Lisäksi hän on kehittänyt metodeita käyttäytymisen muutoksen tutkimiseen (mm. Behaviour Change Wheel). Hän on julkaissut yli 200 vertaisarvioitua artikkelia. Kahdessa laajemalle yleisölle tarkoitetussa kirjassa The Behaviour Change Wheel Guide to Designing Interventions ja ABC of Behaviour Change Theories kuvataan interventioiden suunnittelua ja toteutusta.

Susan Michie is Professor of Health Psychology and Director of the Centre for Behaviour Change at University College London, UK. She completed her undergraduate and doctoral education in psychology at the University of Oxford and her clinical psychology training at the Institute of Psychiatry, University of London. She is a chartered clinical and health psychologist and a Fellow of the Academy of Social Sciences, the European Health Psychology Society and the British Psychological Society.
Susan Michie’s research focuses on behaviour change in relation to health: how to understand it theoretically and apply theory to intervention development and evaluation, and to evidence synthesis. This is conducted in the domains of risky and preventive behaviours amongst the general population (e.g. smoking), managing illness (e.g. medication adherence), and professional practice and implementation (e.g. e.g. hand-hygiene amongst hospital staff). Her work includes developing and evaluating digital interventions and investigating the fidelity of delivery of interventions. Her research develops methods to advance the study of behaviour change, including frameworks such as the Behaviour Change Wheel and the Theoretical Domains Framework, and specifying intervention content using taxonomies of behaviour change techniques (BCT Taxonomy v1).
Professor Michie is Associate Editor of Annals of Behavioral Medicine and of Implementation Science. She holds more than 25 research grants and has published more than 200 peer-reviewed journal articles and two books in 2014, The Behaviour Change Wheel Guide to Designing Interventions and ABC of Behaviour Change Theories.

Annette Markham is Associate Professor of Information Studies at Aarhus University in Denmark and Affiliate Professor of Digital Media at Loyola University in Chicago. Trained as a communication scholar in the United States, her research focuses on sensemaking and identity formation in internet-mediated contexts and more recently, ethical and innovative methodologies for studying digitally-saturated social contexts. Her sociological work related to digital identity is well represented in her book Life Online: Researching real experience in virtual space (Altamira 1998). Other publications include Internet Inquiry (2009, with Nancy Baym) and a range of articles and chapters in edited volumes, handbooks, and scholarly journals. Dr. Markham has extensive background and training in interpretive, qualitative, and ethnographic methods. She is currently working on a book entitled Remix Culture, Remix Methods for MIT Press.
