In Digital Russia Studies research projects, data is released by the DRS research group to support principles of Open Science.

• Linked ontology on metadata on Russian open governmental data. From May to September 2018, DRS research assistant Ilona Repponen investigated open data availability of 75 Russian executive organs, including federal agencies and services, ministries and funds. The results are available as an English language linked open data ontology where one can use keyword search to find out what open data can be acquired. Here you can find ‘User’s guide in three steps.’ NB: The availability of Russian Open Government Data has been severely limited after 2022. Yet, the directory still shows which data was available in 2018, though access to the websites can no longer be established.
