Branch manager Dr. John Barr and Research chemist Dr. Suzanne Kalb from the Centers for Disease Control (Atlanta, GA, USA) visited the department on 2.12.2014. During their visit, they gave a seminar presentation on novel mass spectrometry -based methods for detection of functional botulinum neurotoxin in patient and food samples.
