We are happy to announce that the ESELS conference will be organized again this fall!
Emerging Scholars in Educational and Learning Sciences is the doctoral conference for junior researchers in the fields of education and learning at the University of Helsinki. The second ESELS conference will be arranged on 29th of September 2023 in Minerva Plaza (Siltavuorenpenger 5A). The conference brings together doctoral researchers and those planning to conduct post-graduate studies. The emphasis is on building the local research community and supporting junior researchers.
The conference is organized in collaboration with Doctoral Programme on School, Education, Society and Culture (SEDUCE) and Doctoral Programme in Cognition, Learning, Instruction and Communication (CLIC).
The conference will be an event for early career researchers to present and discuss their own research, network, get to know what kind of research is conducted in CLIC and SEDUCE, and practice conference participation at low threshold. Keynotes speakers and workshop leaders (tba) have recently obtained doctoral degree from the programmes.
PhD researchers, master’s students, supervisors and other researchers are warmly welcome to join!
