The HiSoN conference will be held in the University of Helsinki Centre Campus, in a building that hosts the Swedish School of Social Science (Unioninkatu 35).

Situated in the heart of the city centre, the conference venue is adjacent to several major landmarks, including the Senate Square, the Cathedral, the Market Square, and the shopping streets of Aleksanterinkatu and Esplanade as well as many of the suggested accommodations.

The street signs in Helsinki give both the Finnish and the Swedish versions (the Finnish one on the top), so depending on the map you use, you may also get the Swedish version.

Pre-conference reception

The pre-conference reception will take place in the 5th floor lobby of the Metsätalo building (Unioninkatu 40).

Conference dinner

takes place in The Cock restaurant (Fabianinkatu 17), which is centrally located within a short walking distance from the conference venue.
