Transportation from the airport
Information on public transportation (trains and buses) between the Helsinki Airport and the city center can be found on Finavia’s website and the HSL journey planner. Most travelers prefer the train. A single regional ticket for the ABC zones is currently 4,10 euros.
The most convenient way to buy tickets is to download the the HSL application on your phone: You can also buy tickets from a ticket machine found beside the railway/metro stations or outside tram stops, but please note that all stops do not have a ticket machine. Tickets can also be purchased at a slightly higher price from any R Kioski, Alepa or K-Market.
