Zeitschriften der Aufklärung (Periodicals of the Enlightenment)

Zeitschriften der Aufklärung is a digitally reconstructed corpus of major 18th and 19th century literary journals and review journals published in the German language. The selection of the periodicals is mainly based on the “Index deutschsprachiger Zeitschriften 1750-1815” compiled by the Academy of Sciences at Göttingen. Hill Museum & Manuscript Library (HMML), located at Saint John’s University in Collegeville, MN, holds the world’s largest archive of manuscript photographs in both microfilm and digital format. HMML identifies manuscript collections around the world that need photographic preservation.
