About us

Join us in creating new spaces for climate discussion and action at the intersection of academia and civil society.  We facilitate events, campaigns and dialogue to redefine the role of civil society in climate safety. More info coming up soon!

The Initiative for a Safer Climate is coordinated by the Atmosphere and Climate Competence Center (ACCC) in collaboration with Helsinki Inequality Initiative (INEQ).

Are you a representative of an NGO, humanitarian organization or another civil society organization, researcher, student, volunteer or climate safety expert interested in working with us or learning more? Contact Research Coordinator Rosa Rantanen, rosa.rantanen@helsinki.fi. We are also planning collaborations with e.g. film festivals/professionals and we welcome interested artists and creatives from different fields to join us.
