PI: Salla-Maaria Laaksonen (Adjunct professor, Senior Researcher, D.Soc.Sc) is a researcher of communication, technology and organization. Laaksonen works as a university researcher at the Consumer Research Center of the University of Helsinki, where her research concerns the logics of hybrid media space, especially in encounters between consumer citizens and organizations, digital organizing, and the use of data, algorithms and automation in organizations.

Jukka Huhtamäki (D.Sc.) is a researcher in interactive technology and data analytics. He researches and develops methods in data science and network analysis and applies them across disciplines in collaboration with researchers in media, organization and information technology. He works as a university researcher at the Tampere University.

Mia Leppälä (M.Econ) is finalizing her PhD at Aalto University School of Business on the topic knowledge brokering on enterprise social media. Her research centers on digital communication tools, and the role of social networks and various actors in organizational communication.

Kaisa Lindholm (PhD) is a researcher in communication and work life interaction. She focuses on issues of technology-mediated interaction and the role of non-human communicators such as social bots in digital communication environments. Laitinen is currently a senior lecturer at the Department of Language and Communication Studies at the University of Jyväskylä.

Minna Koivula (MA) is currently finalizing her doctoral dissertation in journalism at the Department of Language and Communication Sciences, University of Jyväskylä. Koivula’s research focuses on creativity and innovation in media work and combines aspects of organizational communication with journalism research.

Erjon Skenderi (PhD) is a postdoctoral grant researcher at the University of Helsinki. He received his PhD from Tampere University. His research is focused on text representation methods, recommender systems, NLP and data analytics, with a special focus on recommender systems in the context of social networks.
