Main objective of the blog is to introduce sustainability-related subjects in a way that’s easy to approach for anyone interested in the matter. We are happy to see you here!

WHO ARE THE CONTRIBUTORS?

The blog is cooperation of three actors: HELSUS, ECGS and Resilience. [BLOG NAME] serves as a platform for discussion and presenting the work within sustainability related themes.

HELSUS – the Helsinki Institute of Sustainability Science contributes to sustainability transformations of societies by means of inter- and transdisciplinary research and education. HELSUS co-creates knowledge through research, experiments, living labs and best practices for national and international policy, private sector and civil society. HELSUS forms an attractive international environment for researchers and facilitates partnerships in areas of research and innovations for the sustainable future.

ECGS is the studying program of Environmental Change and Global Sustainability in University of Helsinki. The Master’s programme aims at tackling global environmental and sustainability challenges by lectures, seminars, project learning and laboratory and field courses. There are two study tracks in ECGS for applicants to choose from: the Environmental Change study track in natural sciences and the Global Sustainability study track in social sciences.

Resilience  is a network for students of the ECGS program and people interested in sustainability science. The network organizes events and … description continues.
