Anja Onali is a postdoctoral researcher. She uses qualitative methods and institutional approaches to study development cooperation in order to create new knowledge and theoretical understanding for both development research and practice. Within the WIRE project she explores the ideals and expectations for policy relevant development research. Using the UniPID Development Policy Studies as a case, her study examines themes such as dialogue and collaboration between civil servants and researchers, different forms of knowledge and expertise, as well as knowledge brokering and societal impact of research.
