Neofeminist, Muslim rigths and recognition
Signe Kjær Jørgensen has a MA degree in Political Science and works with issues about recognition of Muslim females in politics with special focus on their right to practise religion and speak about their faith. Her objective is to explore how they have been presented in Danish media during the recent decade, and what implications this has had for their legitimacy as party representatives. However, her field of interest is broad covering theories of deliberation, democracy and sociology with special focus on inclusion, empowerment and participation.
