Have you wondered why scientific facts of climate change are not enough for people and politicians to take action? Would you like to work together with students from arts and science and understand artistic and scientific processes? Do you feel that you are not at all artistic yourself?
If you answered yes to one or more above, you should consider coming to the Climates of Change course where arts and social as well as natural sciences face climate change together.
University of Helsinki master and doctoral students in atmospheric sciences have an opportunity to do the Project course in atmospheric sciences (ATM303, 5 ECTS) on a ten day course in partnership and collaboration with Theatre Academy, University of the Arts Helsinki and Institute for Atmosphere and Earth System Research (INAR), Univerisity of Helsinki.
This course continues the successful co-operation established on the 2018 between the Theatre Academy and INAR of University of Helsinki on the first joint course Think Like A Forest, Integrating art, science and activism. There are no prerequisites, we welcome all master and PhD students, interested in what can come out of dialogue between art and science, to apply to the course.
