European and Nordic Studies

Nordic Studies Online, 1.1.2020-30.6.2021

The NSO digi-loikka project aims to create a digital teaching platform about the Nordics. The project is a joint initiative of the University of Helsinki, Aarhus University and Gdansk University, and cooperates with ReNEW network and with an online platform, nordics.info.

The project consists of two parts. We will first develop a pilot version of our online course “The Nordics: Narratives and Practices of a Region”. We will test this pilot course with BA and MA students from the partner universities and based on their feedback and our gained experience, we will develop a broader version of the same course. The second course will be open for university students and also for anyone who would wish to learn more about the Nordic exceptionalism, cooperation, cultures, societies, professional life and other related themes.
