Facing the Coordination Challenge: Problems, Policies, and Politics in Media and Communication Regulation (FACE) is a four-year research project (2011-2015) funded by the Academy of Finland.

The aim of the project is to analyse the emerging paradigms of European media and communications policy and their impact on the Finnish national media system.

The project is hosted by the Department of Social Research, University of Helsinki, and its responsible leader is professor Hannu Nieminen.
