Application Procedure

The application period ends 23 June 2019. Prospective participants have to fill in the online registration form. Once the application form has been sent, you will receive the application fee payment instructions via e-mail. The organising committee will evaluate the academic credentials and confirm the enrollment after the payment of the seminar fee has been completed.

The cost of the seminar is 200€ for degree and PhD students and 300€ (including VAT 24%) for professionals. Please note that your registration is not complete until we have received your payment.

The tuition fee does not cover accommodation costs, travel tickets, coffee or meals.

10 degree students of the UH Faculty of Law and UEF will be allowed to attend the seminar free of charge. You have to fill in the application form and send a separate e-mail to intlaw-institute@helsinki.fi. Students who register but do not show up will be sanctioned to pay the 200€ student fee.

Please note:  All free-of-charge seats for UH Faculty of Law and UEF students have been filled.

Cancellation Policy
Registrations are binding and the application fee is payable after your application has been registered. Course fees minus banking costs can be refunded for cancellations made the latest by 30 June 2019.

Payment information

Please bring the receipt of your registration fee payment with you to the seminar. You might need to show it in case your payment has not yet been credited to our account.

Information about Visa

Kindly note that if you are not a citizen of an EU/EEA country, you may be required to present a visa to travel to Finland. More information about the visa requirements in the Schengen area can be found on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs web page.
