Mickwitz_Per_smallProf. Dr. Per Mickwitz, Finnish Environment Institute (SYKE)

Professor Per Mickwitz is a Research Director at the Finnish Environment Institute. He received his doctoral degree from the Faculty of Economics and Administration at the University of Tampere in 2006. Since the end of the 1990s much of Prof. Mickwitz’ work has been focused on the theory and practice of environmental policy evaluation and the role of policy evaluation in reflexive governance. In the latest years the focus of his research shifted to energy and climate policy issues, in particular to issues related to stability and change in energy systems and the role of innovation and climate policies for these processes.

 

nclfncDr. Francesco Nicolli, University of Ferrara / CERIS

Dr. Francesco Nicolli holds a PhD in public policy from the University of Ferrara and Master of Science in Environmental and natural resource Economics from the University of Birmingham. Dr. Nicolli is a visiting Professor at the Department of Economics and Management, University of Ferrara as well as a Researcher at CERIS. His research interests are within European public policy issues, waste management and innovation.

Eva HeiskanenDr. Eva Heiskanen, National Consumer Research Centre, Univeristy of Helsinki

Dr. Eva Heiskanen is a Research Director at the National Consumer Research Centre, UH and Adjunct Professor at Aalto University School of Business. She was working with the LAICA project and part-time at the International Institute for Industrial Environmental Economics in Lund, Sweden.  Eva has a PhD in Organization and Management and an MSc in consumer economics.

 

Hanna Schosler_tcm53-82155Dr. Hanna Schösler, University of Bayreuth

Dr. Hanna Schösler (MSc, MA) coordinates research in food & health sciences at the University of Bayreuth. She holds a PhD in Environmental Studies and a Master of Science in Environmental Resource Management from VU University Amsterdam, as well as a Master of Arts in Linguistics from the University of Amsterdam.

Her main research interests concern psychology and sociology of sustainable food consumption as well as food consumption trends in the society.

Effie studied Geology at the University of Athens, Greece, and completed her MSc in Environmental Engineering in 2003 at Newcastle University. She has had over six years experience as an environmental consultant in the UK before moving to Malaysia to become a Lecturer at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). Effie is currently completing her PhD through the University of Leeds on food waste prevention.
