The INREES (International Network in Russian, East European and Eurasian Studies) held a methodology themed Spring School at the University of Tartu on 7–10 March. The program included lectures, panels, workshops and even academic “speed dating”.
The teachers and the participants from the Universities of Bremen, Glasgow, Helsinki, Tampere, Södertörn and Tartu shared their methodological insights, took part in workshops and discussed both practical issues like text coding and more abstracts topics of the epistemology and ontology of research. In between the program, the participants enjoyed the idyllic city of Tartu, Estonia, the local cuisine, and the Tartu art museum.
