STAFF CHANGES
Two Language Centre staff members retired in 2021.
New teaching staff members in permanent positions included Salla-Maaria Suuriniemi, Minna Lyytinen, Eeva Kaarne, Jenny Sylvin and Nina Shilova.
AWARDS AND ACHIEVEMENTS
On 6 December 2021, the President of the Republic of Finland, Grand Master of the Orders of the White Rose of Finland and the Lion of Finland, awarded decorations to Sinikka Karjalainen and Leena-Maija Åberg-Reinke. Karjalainen was awarded the decoration of Knight of the Order of the Lion of Finland, whereas Åberg-Reinke received the decoration of Knight of the Order of the White Rose of Finland.
