What are the gendered implications of disaster recovery efforts? How imagining better futures creates normative boundaries to notions of womanhood and manhood? How people make sense of the transforming and changing societies, and their everyday lives in the aftermath of catastrophes, such as the Indian Ocean tsunami (2004), and the Kachchh eartquake (2001)? How their life stories illuminate layered temporalities and politics of memory? Follow the unfolding research since 2012 from Facebook, Youtube and Vimeo . Other publications are updated in here.
