Post-doctoral fellow, Bremen International Graduate School of Social Sciences (BIGSSS), University of Bremen
Regine’s PhD compared logics and mechanisms of economic, social and political border-drawing in German, French and British labour migration policies. Her post-doc project is a medium-n comparison, which aims to map and explain the uses of EU free movement as a governance tool in EU-15 admission regimes for non-EU workers, with a special focus on the context of Eastern enlargement of the EU. Regine is interested in critical analyses of state-market relations, the European integration project, and the unequal distribution of mobility and labour rights to workers in Europe.
