Event locations
The meeting will be held in the center campus of the University of Helsinki. On Thursday 1st and Friday 2nd of February, we will use the seminar room in the main building (Fabianinkatu 33) and on Saturday morning, the 3rd of February, we will use a seminar room in the Porthania building (Yliopistonkatu 3, Helsinki). The archaeology department is located in the Topelia building (Unioninkatu 38 F), where we will have an informal get-together on Wednesday evening. The Finnish Museum of Natural History is located at Pohjoinen Rautatiekatu 13, about 1,1 km south from the central campus.
Travelling to Helsinki
You can travel from the airport to the city center by train or, for example, by taxi. Routes and more information about the trains and other public transportation in Helsinki can be found here (HSL link). If you travel to Helsinki by ship, both Katajanokka and Eteläsatama harbors are also located near the central campus area.
