First of all we wish to create a casual and relaxed atmosphere and therefore we have reserved plenty of time for discussion. There are about 40 participants coming to Seili workshop.

Each speaker will have 30 minutes for his or her presentation. This includes about 20 minutes for the actual speech and 10 minutes for questions and comments.  Also after each session there are discussions with the whole group or in small groups.

Presentations will not be timed precisely. However, the schedule for the meals (lunch, dinner & coffee breaks; see the program) is fairly strict: we share the island with other guests and the dining hall is too small to fit everyone at the same time. So we need to respect the meal times that have been allocated for us.

Please bring your presentation on a memory stick so we can download your presentation and publish it at this website later on. If you rather wish to share your file using e.g. OneDrive or Dropbox, please send the link to reetta.harmaja(at)helsinki.fi.  During the actual presentation you may also use your own computer. There are adapters available for Windows in the conference room. Mac users are recommended to bring their own adapter and cable.
