The annual conference started today by the keynote lecture of associate professor Olli Pyyhtinen (in the photo). He highligted that methods should not restrict the research, but enable scientific imagination. He argued that for example visualizations should not only help you to think more clearly and clarify existing theories, but to create new theories. A researcher should thus have a dialogue with the visualizations and to think with them.
