University hosts a blog service for teachers, students, researchers, staff and alike. Anyone with a university user account is entitled for a personal blog and can request a group blog as long as the usage is in line with our rules of conduct.
Personal blog
Setting up your own blog is easy. Just navigate to https://blogs.helsinki.fi/ and log in with your university account by clicking the “Login to your blog” button.
Your personal blog is set up automatically when you first login. The path for personal blog is always https://blogs.helsinki.fi/yourusername and cannot be changed.
Group blogs
After setting up a personal blog, you can also request a group blog. Group blogs are special kind of blogs that can be co-admined with other blog service users. Group blogs are meant primarily for projects, conferences, research, teaching, administrative and other non-personal uses.
Group blogs are set up manually and can be ordered by filling out an order form here: https://blogs.helsinki.fi/blogrequest/.
