A new edited book “Transnational East Asian Studies” is just published by Liverpool University Press. Prof. Julie Yu-Wen Chen at University of Helsinki contributed a chapter on Japanese colonial impacts on Taiwanese cinema and music in this book. You can actually read the whole book online.
