Application & Payment

Application starts on 1 April 2017. Prospective participants should fill the Online Registration Form by 31 May 2017 at the latest. Once the application is received the organizing committee will evaluate the academic credentials and confirm the enrollment in order to proceed do the payment.

The cost of the seminar is 200€ for students and post graduates and 300€ (including VAT 24%) for professionals.

Only 10 degree students of the UH Faculty of Law will be allowed to attend the seminar free of charge; please remember you have to register through WebOodi. Students who register but do not show up will be sanctioned to pay the 200€ student fee.

Please note: All 10 free-of-charge seats allotted for students of the UH Faculty of Law are filled at this time. Regular rates apply for any further UH Faculty of Law applicants.

The tuition fee does not cover accommodation, traveling tickets, coffee or meals. The excursions are included in the price.

Please bring the receipt of your registration fee payment with you to the seminar. You might need to show it in case your payment has not yet, for some reason, been credited to our account.

Information about Visa

Kindly note that if you are not a citizen of an EU/EEA country, you may be required to present a visa to travel to Finland. More information about the visa requirement in the Schengen area can be found at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs web page.

Should you need to include an invitation letter in your visa application, please fill the Helsinki Summer Seminar Background Information Form.

Please note that this form should be filled only by those applicants who will require an invitation letter to their visa application. Incomplete forms will not be processed.
