Education beyond the human reading group was originally created as a part of Riikka Hohti’s post doc research project. Atmospheres research group is continuing to organize reading group meetings from the fall 2022 onwards. The reading group gathers regularly every second month in the Siltavuorenpenger campus at University of Helsinki. The working language of the reading group is English. Topics such as multispecies research, environmental themes and atmospheres are discussed in the meetings with an emphasis on more-than-human posthuman and new materialist theoretical and methodological underpinning.
