Wilma Andersson Receives Two-Year Grant From The Finnish Cultural Foundation

UH Chinese Studies is happy to announce that Doctoral Researcher Wilma Andersson has been awarded a two-year grant from the Finnish Cultural Foundation for work on her PhD thesis, which examines collectivism and individualism in Chinese American literature. The Finnish Cultural Foundation is a private foundation dedicated to promoting art, science, and other fields of intellectual and cultural endeavor in Finland. 

Wilma’s research has previously been supported by the Finnish Academy of Science and Letters, Jutikkala Fund.

Do you know that University of Helsinki is a member institution of the Nordic Centre based in China? This year, the summer course Business and Innovation in China will kick off on July 4 in Sweden, hosted by University of Gothenburg. The course will include both on-site activities in Gothenburg and online content coordinated from Shanghai.
