Associate Professor (Docent), PhD, Clinical Neuropsychologist

Principal Investigator together with PhD Johanna Rosenqvist in The Finland-Swedish minority study of cognition in children (The FinSwed Study).

My previous research has focused on pediatric child neuropsychology. In my PhD, I investigated cognitive outcomes and quality of life in children who have undergone a kidney, liver, or heart transplantation. Later, I have studied cognitive outcomes in extremely prematurely born children both in the FinELBW and the Swedish EXPRESS studies. I have also published on late-effects after pediatric cancer in collaboration with the Helsinki University Hospital and University of Helsinki, Rigshospitalet at the University of Copenhagen, and the Fex-Can Childhood study at Karolinska Institutet in Stockholm. I am also affiliated with the Department of Women’s and Children’s Health, Karolinska Institute, Stockholm, Sweden.
