Invited lectures, presentations by researchers & students covering a broad range of dead wood related topics from molecular level to regional scale.

5 August, Friday — arrivals

To participate in the Dead Wood Meeting, you need to arrive to the Lammi Biological Station on Friday, 5 August. Afternoon bus transportation from Helsinki Central Railway station via Helsinki-Vantaa airport (HKI) to Lammi Biological station will be arranged. Check-ins, free evening, cold snack in the dormitory canteen.

Part II. Dead Wood Course, 8 – 11 August 2016

Three and half days are filled by the intensive program aimed at the dead wood beginners. Lectures, workshops, excursion and a book exam provide introductory overview of this unique habitat and its key inhabitants.
