Call for Papers

Call for papers to the 8th International Conference on Conversation Analysis and Psychotherapy, Helsinki, June 8-10, 2016

We invite submissions for presentations that deal with psychotherapeutic, psychiatric or counselling interactions or closely related fields. Methods of research should be linked to conversation analysis. Both basic and applied research is welcome. We particularly appreciate presentations where clinical implications of the study are explicated.

You can submit a proposal (max 300 words) for:

a paper: a brief report of empirical or theoretical work pertaining to psychotherapeutic, psychiatric or counselling interaction. The abstract should include description of data, methods, findings and implications of the study.

a data session: 90 minutes slot for free or focused exploration of video or audio recorded data. The abstract should include description of the recording and the setting where it was made, and possible focus that the presenter suggests for examination.

You can submit your proposal through the conference website
https://blogs.helsinki.fi/iccap-2016 until December 18th 2015.

Notification of acceptance will be sent via email in February 2016.
