LGBTQ+ STEM Day 18.11.2022

You are welcome to join us on Friday Nov. 18 for LGBTQ+ STEM Day, bringing the Kumpula LGBTQ+ community together to talk about science, identity and community.

The event will be run in a fully hybrid format, with virtual attendance organized via Zoom.

The Keynote talk will be given by Mercédesz Czimbalmos from THL, titled
‘”I’m a very complex person with many identities that intersect” – Experiences of foreign-origin sexual and gender minority individuals in Finland today,’
on the recent study “Sexual and Gender Minorities Among the Foreign-Origin Populations in Finland: An intersectional analysis.” Talks will then be given by members of the community, wrapping up with a Panel discussion.
