This site is for R&D project to renew old suburban shopping centres in Helsinki. The project affiliates in the Department of Social Studies at the University of Helsinki. The resonsible researcher is Ph.D. Pasi Mäenpää, adjunct professor of urban sociology.

The aim is to practically innovate new modes of residential services by applying concept of 4P (Public-Private-People-Partnership) in specific suburbs.

In January 2014 I will start posting regularly to the site on the developing of new concepts for suburban shopping centres. Unfortunately, the language will be Finnish, but feel free to comment on English. Most of the readers will understand you.
