Summer opening hours from June 1st
Library has summer opening hours from June 1st to August 21st.
- Kumpula, Meilahti and Viikki Campus Libraries are closed from June 24th to July 31st.
- The Dental library is moving to the Meilahti Campus Library Terkko and is open for the last time on June 17th 2016.
- Main Library Kaisa House and Learning Centre Aleksandria are closed on Saturdays from June 18th to August 21st.

Talentum dictionaries – not available after 6.5.2016
Talentum dictionaries are not available after 6.5.2016
MOT Pro Englanti and MOT Pro Ruotsi will replace Talentum dictionaries, starting from 1.6.2016.

Physical copies of Suomi-Englanti Suursanakirja are also available in the Main library.
Trial: Cairn Info ~ until 3.7.2016
Cairn Info, the French equivalent of Project Muse, is an online collection of publications in the French language, in the area of humanities and social sciences. Created in 2005 by four Belgian and French academic publishers, Cairn is now providing selected resources from 130 publishing houses.
During the trial we have access to more than 400 journals and 4,000 books of which, there are 2,200 research books (monographs, proceedings, other collective works) from French and Belgian publishers e.g. Armand Colin, Autrement, Lavoisier, Gallimard, Le Seuil, De Boeck, La Découverte,L’Harmattan, PUF, ENS, La Documentation française, Presses de Sciences Po, Quae jne.
The site has both French and English interfaces.

On Wednesday May 4th libraries are open as follows:
– Main Library 8-18
– Kumpula, Terkko, Viikki 9-16
– Dental Library 9-15.
Learning Centres
– Aleksandria 8-17:45
– Minerva 8-17:45.
On Thursday May 5th (Ascension Day) libraries and learning centres are closed.
Aleksandria can be accessed with a magnetic key.
On Friday May 6th libraries and learning centres are open:
– Main Library 8-20
– Kumpula, Terkko, Viikki 9-16
– Dental Library closed
– Aleksandria 8-19:45
– Minerva 8-19:45.

The ResearchGuides lists a selection of major information resources in various research fields provided by the Library. ResearchGuides collects library’s information sources and services from the viewpoint of each research field. It is targeted especially for researchers and advanced students.
Trial: Biblioclub – University Library Online ~31.5.2016
Biblioclub – University Library Online is a Russian eBook platform and an internet library containing more than 80 000 ebooks on literature, history, philosophy, social sciences, culture, arts, religion, natural and information sciences. The collection is offered in page-by-page view and includes all subject collections, textbooks, and a number of publishers’ collections: Siberian division of Russian Academy of Sciences, ABV-press, Institute of Psychology of Russian Academy of Sciences, Labaratoriia knigi, Literaturnoe agentstvo “Akademicheskii proekt”, Moscow State University, Flinta.
Users are able to have access to materials in page-by-page view, save, copy and download fragments of books.
If the browser used for work is Internet Explorer, the recommended version is not lower that Internet Explorer 9.

Trial: Education Full Text until 31.5.2016
Education Full Text provides full text of articles from more than 530 journals, with full-text coverage dating back to 1996. Additionally, this database includes indexing for more than 1,000 periodicals dating back to 1982. Education Full Text also features in-depth coverage of special education, with more than 30 full-text journals dedicated to this important topic.
