8. Client responsibilities

Users of UniSport services agree to the terms of service valid at the time. The terms are available at customer service points and on the UniSport website. Changes in the Terms of Service are announced on the website and at customer service points.

Clients who use UniSport’s services must have a valid Training card or have paid for the service. The UniSport Training card is personal and the right to the services it entitles the bearer to is non-transferrable.

If misused, the Training card will be voided, the incident recorded with the client’s name and a three-month suspension on purchases and use will be imposed on the client.   At the end of the suspension, clients who pay for services at the normal price-list rate will have their right to use services restored. Users must pay for their earlier unpaid services at the price-list rate in addition to the services they want to use at the time.

Visiting clients must register their use of sports and fitness services through the access control monitoring device or by stopping by the customer service desk.

The client should be considerate of other users of the facility. The client must observe UniSport’s instructions and keep safety aspects in mind. If a client fails to follow UniSport instructions, UniSport may block or cancel the client’s Training card and impose a temporary ban of three months on the purchase and use of UniSport services.

If a client breaches UniSport’s rules in a way that poses a safety risk or that endangers or may endanger the health of other clients or staff, or if a client acts in a way that damages or may damage the fitness equipment, UniSport reserves the right to defer or invalidate the client’s Training card and impose a temporary suspension of the client’s right to purchase and use services insofar as the client fails without a just cause to take timely measures to correct his or her behaviour despite a request by UniSport to do so.

If the client damages the UniSport training equipment, the customer is liable for replacing the damaged equipment. Unisport charges a fee of 40€ for damaged ball game equipment (racket).

UniSport reserves the right to defer or invalidate a client’s Training card and impose a temporary ban on the client’s right to purchase or use services also in the event that the client is over 30 days delinquent in paying for the card despite reminder notices.

The bearer of a photoless staff ID card, a UniSport sport card or a 10-visit card should be prepared to present proof of identity.
