As I hope all of you have seen, the call for speakers for the next Monday lecture series is out (see email below). Let us all try and make an effort to nominate excellent female speakers to balance out the gender ratio. We have discussed preliminary plans with Ville to make one of the seminars a designated female spot to highlight excellent female science but he would also like to see more female speakers overall. If we all make an effort, maybe we could for once have a 50/50 ratio of male and female speakers?
