Radiative transfer model for LUE via reflectance

The project “A generic radiative transfer model for the estimation of canopy photosynthetic light use efficiency via the photochemical reflectance index: integrating physical and physiological factors” (Jan 2013 – Apr 2016) is a three year project funded by the University of Helsinki (PI. Dr. Porcar-Castell). The aim of the project to adapt a radiative transfer model for the estimation of canopy photosynthetic light use efficiency via the photochemical reflectance index that integrates both physical and physiological factors. To do this we couple Radiative Transfer and process based models at the leaf level and upscale them and test them at the canopy level.
