The conference venue is Metsätalo, University of Helsinki. It is within easy walking distance from the centre of Helsinki and the main railway station. The street address is Unioninkatu 40.
Getting to Helsinki
Most of you will be travelling through Helsinki-Vantaa airport (HEL). Most major European airlines connect Helsinki with a broad range of destinations. In addition to that, several lowcost airlines serve Helsinki’s international airport as well. More information concerning the airport is available here.
Getting to downtown Helsinki from the airport
Finnair busses operate every 20 min (at busy time every 15 min) between the airport and Helsinki City Centre (central railway station). For Töölö Towers and Scandic Park Hotel, the most convenient stop is “Hesperianpuisto”

Alternatively, you can take a commuter train from the airport to the city centre. Train lines I and P link the airport with the central railway station. More information can be found from the helsinki airport website:
