Interview with Mikko Puustinen, Advisor for Finnish Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment

Happy Summer! Helsinki China Podcast has a summer edition for our students in China/Asian studies! This episode invites Mr. Mikko Puustinen, Advisor for Finnish Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment to share his educational and career journey.  Mr. Puustinen is an expert in China issues and a fluent Chinese speaker. He obtained his education in East Asian Studies and Political Sciences at the University of Helsinki. In addition to his advisory role for the Finnish Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment, he is also chairman of Finland-China Society. Puustinen points out that it makes more sense to study China today than decades ago.

There are fewer Finns working in China nowadays but there are more employment opportunities for Finns to do something related to China in Finland.
